Rooftop restaurant Architecture and interior design
How many stylish rooftop breweries can boast of an unhindered view of the Taj Mahal?! None except for the newest bar designed by Sumessh Menon at the rooftop restaurant in Agra's neighbourhood.
A lavish 9000 square feet trendy rooftop bar complete with a water feature and a brewery, this new space boasts of a hexagonal bar with a private seating space right above it that doubles up as a viewing deck to catch a glimpse of the magnificent Taj Mahal! The main ante-lobby entrance has a magnanimous geodesic dome ceiling covered in glass that welcomes you into the lavish open top bar! A modern interpretation of Mughal architectural elements are also seen in the water feature that surrounds the stunning bar with a stepped pathway across it leading to the bar itself. Rustic grey cobblestone flooring binds the whole rooftop space together and plenty of biophilic elements including a large tree add to the charm of the whole space. The central axis of the bar and water feature element is flanked on either side by private dining spaces, with fancy closed cavern-like cabana seating on one side and a covered raised deck VIP seating on the other end and a dedicated smoking gallery allotted on one side.
