Right from art deco inspired formal living areas to classical style influenced private areas like bedrooms; kitchen etc. to more contemporary touches in the children’s room and the study, the interior design of this Dubai Villa is a seamless amalgamation of contemporary and ethnic inspirations. Customization was done right from bedroom furniture to marble temple designs to metallic screens and even stained glass windows. Most of the design elements were sourced from India, particularly the stunning marble panels for the Indian temple. Furniture and light fixture were sourced from well known brands in Dubai.
A grand art deco inspired main door and marble inlay welcomes you into the luxurious double height entrance foyer. The staircase well is cleverly utilized to house a stunning marble stand alone temple customized entirely in Jaipur and transported to site. The temple displays a tree of life theme with intricate stone cut panels and a beautiful pyramidal ceiling that filters in natural light from the stained glass window in the stair block as well as the chandelier right above the temple. The living room and dining room display elements of both Indian inspiration and art deco themes blending seamlessly. The guest bedroom has a four poster bed with a touch of royalty whereas the kids' bedroom is more contemporary with car inspired wallpapers and custom blinds. All bathrooms have Italian marble floors with different themes for each. A retro style guest bath fits perfectly alongside a blue and white fish scale tile clad kids' bath.
The house is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden equipped with a swimming pool and an outhouse with its very own bar. Truly the house is a tastefully done signature style of Indian elements blended with contemporary themes.
