House of Paloma,
Bandra
Not your everyday tapas bar but a “cultural ritual”
House of Paloma is SMA’s second project with the clients, first being the delightful visual riot i.e. 1522 Bar & Kitchen (Goldfinch Hotel, Mumbai). The direction for this project was unique, the clients wanted House of Paloma to be a space where cocktails and art speak a shared story. In Spain and Mexico, the ever popular Paloma drink is a cultural ritual, and similarly this new tapas and tequila bar was designed to make its own cultural impact in the suburbs of Mumbai.
Where tapas, tequila and art blend
Spanish influence, local goodness

Of discovery and artistry
House of Paloma was envisioned and destined to be an eccentric, art-infused spot once Sumessh Menon was roped in. The reviews attest to this fact. Word on the street is that the new hotspot in town is “a blend of artistry and storytelling”, “…promises discovery, intimacy, and artistry”, and that it is “bold and evocative…does as much for discovery as it does for conversation.”
