When you’re designing a bar to present masterpieces by UK-based mixologist, Dmitri you cannot do anything short of fabulous. So Sumessh decided to do the complete opposite. He made the longest bar the city of dreams had ever seen.
It’s a pièce de résistance, a 125-foot-long island bar made from locally sourced wood. The centre of attention in the restaurant design, the bar counter is abstract, fluid and flows from one end to the other greeting everyone politely. The little crevices in the wood are filled with resin to give it a distinctive texture and you ‘have’ to see the way the light reflects on it. Its gorgeous!
Further, the apron has a three-dimensional look, covered as it is with cement-cast blocks in different patterns. Only Sumessh can combine wood, resin and cement and make them look so good!
Lets raise a toast to this uniqueness!
